Title Voice Operated Intelligent WheelChair

Abstract Paper describes the prototype design of the voice operated intelligent wheelchair. This wheel chair aids people with various physical disabilities. Patients suffering from specific disabilities find it difficult to operate the joystick operated power wheelchair. The purpose of this wheelchair is to ease the difficulties of all those patients. The intelligent wheelchair will be operated using three modes, namely voice mode using android smartphone via Bluetooth, PC control using an RF frequency link and touch tilt mode using android controlled via Bluetooth. It will consist of smart control features like medication reminder and stair climbing facility to assist primary needs of patient. The intelligent wheelchair control unit consists of microcontroller ATmega16 with Bluetooth module HC05, RF link and receiver unit.
